Frequently asked
Do I own my website?
You own your domain, your content, your images, your customer data, and your Google Business Profile. I own the design, the code, and the hosting setup, because the build was never billed to you as a separate charge.

Do I own my website?
That split sounds unusual, so here's exactly how it plays out. Your domain is registered in your name, on your card, from day one. You could point it somewhere else this afternoon without asking me. Your content, every word and photo and page I wrote for you, is exported and delivered within ten business days of you asking, at no charge. Your customer list, every contact and lead and form submission, comes to you in a format you can actually open and use somewhere else. Your Google profile was always yours; I was only a manager on it, and I remove myself when you go. Your reviews live on Google attached to your business, so they stay with you no matter what.
What I keep is the website build itself, the design and the code and the hosting. When you cancel, that site goes offline. That's the trade, and it's a fair one: a normal agency charges five thousand dollars up front and hands you the files. I charge $997 to start, keep the build, and put myself on the hook to keep your phone ringing so you stay. You decide which deal you'd rather have. Nobody holds anything hostage either way, and it's all written down before you pay a dollar.
